Once furnished with a soil investigation report, London Rock will complete a full analysis to establish the most cost effective method of disposal. The conclusions will be dependant on several factors including the site location in relation to the development location and whether your muckaway is inert, non-hazardous or hazardous waste.

In line with the latest government directive, our aim is to avoid landfill where ever possible. This is for 2 reasons:

• It is the contractors duty to ensure that as much waste as possible is sent for recycling or any other legal use that avoids the filling of landfill sites
• With active landfill tax presently at £48 per tonne and being increased by £8 per tonne on April 1st of each year, it is evident that the cost savings in alternative disposal of waste are enormous
